Carbon Fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) systems are simply defined as high­strength and light weight reinforcements created by composite carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) with a epoxy resin material. The performance characteristics of CFRP strengthening system have become increasingly popular in construction and retrofit applications, specifically in aging, damaged, deteriorating or overloaded concrete structures.
